DIY MFA Radio

If this website were a campus, the DIY MFA podcast would be the school’s radio station. Hosted by instigator Gabriela Pereira, this show emulates the traditional MFA speaker series where authors and industry experts speak to students about writing, but makes these conversations accessible to anyone with an internet connection.

About the DIY MFA Podcast

This show began as a series of solo episodes with Gabriela jamming about writing topics that struck her fancy with a few interviews sprinkled in for fun. Those interviews became so popular that Gabriela soon started doing more and more. Eventually this podcast has become a popular weekly interview show featuring bestselling authors, debuts, and experts in the publishing industry.

In each episode Gabriela and her guest do a deep dive into one specific aspect of writing, looking either at the craft, the business side, or both. Listen in while Gabriela and her guest geek out over books, writing, and all things literary.
