Write It! Wednesday #7: Help Us Make DIY MFA Awesome

For today’s Write It! Wednesday (on a Friday) I’m going to need your help.

If you haven’t already, please fill out our 2013 DIY MFA Survey. It’s short and sweet and will help us make DIY MFA so much better! Whether you’ve just discovered DIY MFA or you’ve been following the program from the very start, your feedback is SO important to me and the DIY MFA Team. It helps us identify parts of DIY MFA that aren’t working and it also shows us what types of features or products are most useful for you.

And it’s a great way for you to help shape the direction that this project takes. After all, DIY MFA doesn’t just belong to me or the team, it belongs to all of us. We need your help to make this project the best that it can be.

New Feature at DIY MFA

There’s something else that I could really use your help with. These last few issues of Writer Fuel I’ve been getting great email replies from many of you. These emails seriously make my week! Not only is it a thrill to connect directly with you guys, but you also ask really smart questions. Just when I think I’ve run out of things to talk about here on the website, one of you writes with an awesome question that sparks a post or series of posts.

A few weeks ago, as I was replying to one of these fantastic questions, it hit me: why not have a Q&A series or column at DIY MFA? Over the next few weeks I’m going to start experimenting with different formats and ways to implement this Q&A idea, but right now what I need from you guys are questions. Sure, I could make up questions but then they wouldn’t be from you and that would defeat the purpose.

So if you’ve got a question about reading, writing, community or DIY MFA in general, just email me and I’ll give you an answer. (And if I don’t have the answer myself, I will track down an expert who does.)

Just shoot me an email at gabriela[at]DIYMFA[dot]com with Q&A in the subject line.

I don’t know about you but I’m excited to try this out!

Recap:

  1. Be part of making DIY MFA awesome and fill out our survey.
  2. Got questions? Send them to gabriela[at]DIYMFA[dot]com and I’ll answer them online.

Thanks so much for helping make DIY MFA awesome. I can’t wait to hear your feedback and and your questions!
