I’ll add this…. if you are going to play with “putting on” a voice, consider doing it under a pseudonym. If you are successful, no reason you can’t continue using the other name. If you tire of it and want to try something more authentically you, you can start writing under your own name and will have the success of your previous brand in your corner when you seek a new agent. (And if you don’t see the success you wanted, no one but you ever has to know. Heh.)
