Exactly. One of the big differences, though, is that the midpoint is often more &quot;quiet,&quot; so to speak, than the climax. It&#039;s just as important in terms of the plot and the protagonist&#039;s development, but it&#039;s more subtly handled. But if the protagonist makes a wrong decision and/or things don&#039;t go well during the midpoint... well, then it can have just as much BANG! ;)
