DIY MFA 101
This is our flag ship course that runs periodically during the year. In this course, you’ll learn the foundational elements to help you write and revise your book, learn to read like a writer, build your own community of like-minded writers and ideal readers, plus figure out how to navigate the publishing industry. This is an intensive course that condenses two years of graduate study into nine weeks. Registration is currently closed. Check back for updates.
Mentoring Jumpstart Package
Interested in working one-on-one with DIY MFA founder Gabriela Pereira? The Mentoring Jumpstart Package is your first step. When you sign up for this package, you’ll receive an in-depth questionnaire to fill out and send back to Gabriela, along with a short writing sample. You’ll then set up a one-hour mentoring session with her. After your session, Gabriela will send you a personalized DIY MFA plan outlining your next steps. Learn more.
