Conquer the Craft in 29 Days!
The next round of #CTC29 is coming in February, 2015.
I know you’re probably dying to get started, but the challenge only runs a few times per year. Hang in there. A new round will be coming really soon and now that you’re on the list, you’ll be the first to know when the challenge runs the next time.
Why do we do it this way? Because a HUGE component of #CTC29 is the community engagement and interaction. Sure, the prompts are important, but the thing that will really keep you motivated and help you stick with the writing for the 29 days is knowing that there are other writers out there doing the challenge with you. This is why we run the challenge during limited times of the year, so that you have that built-in community.
Itching to get started? No problem.
Here are some ideas of ways to get warmed up and writing before the next round of the challenge.
- Tweet and tell your friends that you’re participating. Use the #CTC29 hash tag and start chatting up other writers while you wait for the challenge to start.
- Head over to the Writer Igniter and use it to get prompts between now and when the challenge begins.
- If you’re not on the DIY MFA email list, hop on over and join. You’ll get a FREE Starter Kit to keep you busy between now and the next round of #CTC29.
